The River is for washing – It cleanses my soul.
One dip in It, and it makes me whole.
Part of me holds back, and I don’t enter in.
I’m afraid the rushing Waters will take all my sin.
Why do I hang on to all this worthlessness?
I need to trade it for Christ’s forgiveness.
This battle rages on inside – give it or keep it?
There have been several times that I’ve come
face to face with the splendor of God, yet
it has not changed my life.
It’s time to make a stand for what I truly believe.
The blood of Christ flows freely;
The healing Waters never recede.
As I dip in and let the Water wash me clean,
I thank my savior for I have been redeemed!
