In 1997, Rich Mullins wrote a musical with Mitch McVicker and David Strasser (aka Beaker) called Canticle of the Plains. This was based on the life of St. Francis of Assisi. The final song is a praise song to the savior called You Are All.
The lyric that really stands out to me is: Lord, You are all that the world could not be. So many people chase happiness, joy, freedom, etc from whatever they can. Whatever they catch, is fleeting, at best. However, if you seek the Lord, what you find in Him is lasting throughout all eternity!
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Cor. 9:8, NIV)
Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us— to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph. 3:20-21, HCSB)

This is good news! This is something to truly be thankful for! This is what will make you want to fall on your knees, look heavenward, and with outstretched arms declare: “Lord, You Are All!”
